As of January 1, 2025, the Department of Cannabis Control (DCC) will no longer renew provisional licenses except for locally verified equity retail licenses with valid provisional licenses who may be eligible for provisional license renewal.

What Happens if I Can’t Transition My License Before its Renewal Date?
The DCC will allow you up to 30 days to transition your Provisional license to Annual. After that, your license expires and cannot be renewed.
